In May, Pender & Associates participated in the Great Strides Atlanta walk, an event to celebrate a successful fundraising push for the Georgia Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our agency partnered with Insure the Cure, a collective of insurance industry members in the Atlanta area, united around this cause. Our niece and granddaughter Addie Pender was born with CF, and we show our love and support by walking towards a cure.

Insure the Cure had a record setting year, raising over $408,944 and having the most registered walkers to date. In total, the Great Strides Atlanta walk raised over $1.6 Million for CFF. This organization raises awareness around cystic fibrosis, a rare, genetic disease with a shortened life expectancy that makes it difficult to breathe. We walk for our Addie, for a better future, and ultimately, for a cure.
