Over the past year, we’ve had the pleasure of remembering our founder and beloved husband, father and grandfather Bill Pender. Various events held this year in his honor remind us that his legacy and personal impact will long outlive his life. We miss him fiercely, but we look back at his strong character, joking nature and dedication to his family, friends and clients with great respect. Thank you all for your kind words, shared memories and involvement. Here is a quick recap of our year of reflection.

Driving Away Parkinson’s – The Georgia Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association hosted its 12th annual golf tournament and auction, this year introducing the Pender Cup trophy for the winning golf team. Thank you to all of our clients and friends who supported this event. Faye, Linda, Jennifer and Sean are continually involved in this chapter.

Strike Out Parkinson’s – India Martin, grand-daughter of Bill Pender, chaired a fundraiser and walk with the Greenville Area Parkinson Society in Upstate South Carolina. India, in honor of her grandfather, has volunteered for this organization for the past four years. The entire Pender clan was in attendance to walk in memory of Bill.

Polo for Parkinson’s – Former client and friend, Bill Wilkins, founded the Wilkins Parkinson’s Foundation and hosted the 11th annual polo match and auction to honor Bill Pender. Faye with daughter Carrie DeMarchi enjoyed the event this year.
